What Is the Limited Lifetime Repair Policy?
This Policy applies to most light fixtures manufactured by Aquatic Life for consumer use. This Policy applies even if you purchased the light fixture used.
How Long Does the Coverage Last?
This Policy is in addition to Aquatic Life’s standard 12 Month Limited Warranty and lasts for the lifetime of your light fixture, provided your light fixture is not beyond repair. A light fixture will be considered beyond repair if the cost of replacement parts exceeds the cost of replacing the light fixture.
What Will Aquatic Life Do?
Aquatic Life will perform all labor to repair your light fixture FREE OF CHARGE. You must pay all charges for parts and shipping.
How Do I Get Service?
If something goes wrong with your light fixture, submit a Service Request to Aquatic Life on our website. After submitting a service request, we will contact you to work out the details of the needed repair. Upon receipt of your light fixture, our Service Department will perform a complete inspection and evaluate the problem(s) specified in your Service Request. Prior to performing any work on your light fixture, Aquatic Life will contact you with a cost quotation for the parts required to fix your light fixture. If you decline to have the light fixture fixed, Aquatic Life will send the light fixture back to you, and we will only charge your credit card for the shipping charges. If you authorize us to perform the repair, we will charge you for parts and shipping as identified in our cost quotation, and we will perform the repairs FREE OF CHARGE, which means you do not pay for any labor charges. If we are unable to complete the repairs, you will not be charged for any parts or labor, your light fixture will be returned to you, and you will only pay for shipping. Once repaired, we will ship the light fixture back to you. Usual repair times are 5-7 business days plus shipping transit times.
What If You Live in the Los Angeles Area?
If you live in the Los Angeles area, you can drop your light fixture off at Aquatic Life’s service and repair facility after calling us at 1-818-768-6943 to make arrangements for the drop-off.
How Does State Law Apply? This Policy may give you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
What Does This Policy NOT COVER?
• The costs of parts and shipping are not covered by this Policy.
• Aquatic Life light fixtures that are marked “Store Fixture Only” or any similar designation are not covered under this Policy.
• This Policy does not apply to customers outside of the United States.

What Warranties Apply to Your Repaired Light Fixture?
REPAIR SERVICES: AQUATIC LIFE MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE REPAIR SERVICES PROVIDED UNDER THE LIFETIME REPAIR POLICY. THE REPAIR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO YOU WITH ALL FAULTS. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY OF THE REPAIR SERVICES UNDER THE LIFETIME REPAIR POLICY IS WITH THE BUYER. SHOULD SUCH REPAIR SERVICES CAUSE A DEFECT IN THE REPAIRED LIGHT FIXTURE, THE BUYER, AND NOT AQUATIC LIFE, ASSUMES THE ENTIRE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING OR REPAIR, except that the buyer may take advantage of the Lifetime Repair Policy again, and except to the extent that such defect is due to a Replacement Part that is warranted under the Limited Ninety (90) Day Replacement Parts Warranty.
REPLACEMENT PARTS: Any Replacement Parts you purchase in connection with Aquatic Life’s Lifetime Repair Policy are covered by the following Limited Ninety (90) Day Replacement Parts Warranty:
AQUATIC LIFE LIMITED NINETY (90) DAY REPLACEMENT PARTS WARRANTY
WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS: Aquatic Life warrants that Replacement Parts shall be free from defective electrical components and leaks or cracks due to defects in materials. This Warranty is provided solely to the original purchaser of the Replacement Parts and may not be transferred or assigned.
HOW LONG DOES THIS WARRANTY LAST? This Warranty lasts for ninety (90) days after the date of purchase.
WHAT AQUATIC LIFE WILL DO. If a defect is present, Aquatic Life will, at Aquatic Life’s sole discretion, either repair or replace the product without charge. No cash refunds will be made.
WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER : THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER defects or damage resulting from: modification, alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, lack of reasonable care, failure to follow safety and installation instructions, use of the product with non-standard electrical service, or any other defect not resulting from defects in the electrical components of the product or defects in materials. This Warranty only covers Replacement Parts and not any other components of the repaired light fixture.

THIS CONSTITUTES AQUATIC LIFE’S ENTIRE WARRANTY AND AQUATIC LIFE MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE REPLACEMENT PARTS AND WITH RESPECT TO OUR REPAIR SERVICES. ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, WHICH IS 90 DAYS. SOME STATES AND JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON THE DURATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL AQUATIC LIFE BE LIABLE TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. AQUATIC LIFE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL ALLEGED DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF MARINE LIFE, PERSONAL INJURY, AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. SOME STATES AND JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
CONDITION PRECEDENT TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE; HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE. Aquatic Life shall not have any obligations under this Warranty unless the purchaser NOTIFIES AQUATIC LIFE of any alleged defect(s) WITHIN 15 DAYS OF DISCOVERY OF THE DEFECT(S) by e-mail or alternatively, notice to Aquatic Life may be delivered by United States Post Office (in which case notice shall be effective only upon receipt by Aquatic Life) or by electronic mail to the following address:

Shipping expenses are the purchaser’s responsibility. Proof of purchase is required when making claims under this Warranty. Aquatic Life shall be allowed a reasonable period of time to investigate any Warranty claim and to perform any testing that Aquatic Life deems necessary to determine the cause of the defect.
